WEI BEI 魏碑 Chinese calligraphy (General Introduction – Part 1)

The great 張大千 (Zhang Da-Chian / Pinyin: Zhang Daqian) was renowned for his Wei Bei style calligraphy and often inscribed his Chinese paintings with his own calligraphy.

The great Chinese painter, Zhang Daqian, practiced Wei Wei and his calligraphy resembles the postures of Wei Bei.
