    This is a terrific technique to capture the wafer-thin petals of the hibiscus. I have not had success painting this flower using other watercolor techniques. Hibiscus grows in numerous colors and types in South Texas, and I am anxious to try again to paint one. Thank you for great instructional videos for the beginner..

    Painting is a reflection of your mood. Your hand movement reflects your mind. Besides other preparations before painting, you need to clean up any bothering thoughts adjust your mood. As for the painting progress (speed), I think that is if too slow, mind is easy to escape; too fast, stroke too scribble; there is a delicate balance relationship between the concentration of the appropriate speed to draw the attention of the painter, in order to capture the “spirit”.
